Give the orphans of southern Malawi the start in life they deserve.

Your project work will provide food, shelter and education for these orphans as you renovate crumbling classrooms - mixing cement, making mud bricks and carrying water with the local community. You will also have the opportunity to help out in the day care centres, preparing food and spending time playing with the kids. You'll be surrounded by shy smiles and big hugs! Part of your donation will also sponsor one child through secondary school. The beauty of this project is in its variety and the fact that it exposes you directly to the warmth and unforgettable welcome of the Malawian people.

We work hard on this project, but also give ourselves the odd weekend off! Choose as a team whether you want to visit the hippos and elephants of Liwonde National Park or snorkel in the crystal blue waters of Lake Malawi before a BBQ and cold beer watching the sunset.

Spend five weeks volunteering with the orphaned and vulnerable children of Pen Sulo. Work closely with rural communities and help develop and improve living conditions for future Malawian children and their families. Includes a relaxing weekend break, snorkelling in Lake Malawi or taking a boat safari past hippos and elephants in Liwonde National Park.
