Help give the children of northern Tanzania the most precious gift. Education.

Schools in disrepair in the Babati region face closure without your help. Give the children of Babati the start they deserve. You will be renovating and building schools, classrooms and libraries as well as organising sports days and informal teaching in the local schools. The village community are friendly and welcoming and in desperate need of help. This is a unique opportunity to experience Tanzanian village life and directly help rural villages to improve the livelihoods and future of their children.

Immerse yourself in local culture and the local wildlife!

On weekends off we will return to Babati for a hot shower and cool beer. We stay in a comfy guesthouse which is close to town and has some great markets for you to buy souveniers. Babati is off the tourist track so you'll really be immersing yourself in Tanzanian culture. But that's not all! At the end of your hard work we reward ourselves by heading off on a two day 4x4 safari to some of Tanzania's world famous National Parks. A chance to do the real African safari and see lion, leopard, elephant and much more.

Spend five weeks volunteering on our community development project in northern Tanzania helping to improve educational facilities for the children of Babati. Help to make a real and immediate difference to the children of the Manyara region in Tanzania. Then explore Tanzania's most impressive wildlife parks. Team sizes from 8 to 16.
