brighton marathon water stations

Fast approaching is the second ever Brighton Marathon on Sunday 10th April. We’re very excited to have 6 fabulous runners doing their bit to raise money for Quest Overseas projects (read about them here). They’ll be joining at least 15,000 other runners along the route, which takes in some of the best sights in the city – Preston Park, the Pavilion, Brighton Pier…

But running those 26 miles is going to be thirsty work…

So, we’d love you all to show your support for the Quest4Change runners on the day by helping man the Quest drinks station. The stand is at Mile 6, near the Marina on the main coast road. Because it’s early in the race, this will be a morning station, with volunteers needed from 7am until around 1pm. Yes, it’s an early start, but this is a great chance to enjoy the race from the front-row as well as support Quest 4 Change, and still have time to relax in the afternoon. Volunteers will be handing out water, collecting bottles and generally cheering the masses on.

If you’d like to volunteer, just follow this link to register, choosing Quest Overseas from the list, or get in touch for more info – contact Rose or Jon on 01273 777206, or email rose@quest4change.org.
