Huge congratulations to the Water, the New Petrol student and teacher team from Peru & Mallorca, who have just been crowned joint Platinum Award winners in the “Doors to Diplomacy” competition!

Doors to Diplomacy is an international education challenge sponsored by the US State Department, designed to encourage middle & high school students around the world to produce web projects on the importance of international affairs and diplomacy. 

Teacher Emma Saura, an old Quest Leader, got in touch with us to see if we (and our past volunteers) could help them with some stories from our Kenya Water Relief Project. As well as being very passionate about our projects we’re a load of old gasbags and we were only too happy to share a few tales!

The final website is an absolutely fantastic resource for information on the world water crisis, how it has come about, how it’s exacerbated by modern life – and how we can address it. A lot of hard work and a very well-deserved win for the team!
